Ahmed Musa agrees with West Brom, off to England
Ahmed Musa is understood to be on his way to the United Kingdom to complete the formalities of his transfer to West Bromwich Albion. The final hurdle is subject to him passing the medical tests.
Reports confirmed that Musa’s agent made meaningful progress with the team over the last few days. It had been believed that the Nigeria international may have had a visa hitch.
The Super Eagles captain was due to arrive in the UK two weeks ago but stayed away as his representatives “were still studying the terms offered to him” by West Brom.
He is expected to sign a short team deal with the Baggies until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
He is a free agent which means the deal can be be signed after the close of the Winter Transfer market.
Musa’s first spell in England saw him play for Leicester City. He started well scoring against Barcelona but events soon took a downward turn. He scored 5 goals in 33 appearances across all competitions for King Power team.
