Super Eagles B will be hoping to defeat Equatorial Guinea in Tuesday’s final group C clash, as they seek to qualify for the knockout stages of the tournament. And they are stepping out today mindful of the graded bonus the Nigeria Football Federation has lined up for them.
Nigeria defeated Libya 1-0 on Friday through Sunday Faleye’s goal, to place a foot in the next stage of the competition.
Eagles need simple win to qualify. Their opponents Equatorial Guinea are yet to win a game since they arrived in Tangiers, Morocco.
Each player will earn about $20,000 win-bonus and allowances should they win the 2018 Championship for African Nations (CHAN).
The breakdown details they will be paid $2000-a-man for a win in the group stage get $3,000 each if they win their quarterfinal game. A semi-final win gives each player $4,000 while they will receive $5,000 each if they win the final match.
They are on $100 daily camp allowance.
They have so far pocketed $4,000 after the draw with Rwanda was approved by the sports ministry as a win. They won the game against Libya on Friday.
The Confederation of African Football prize money for CHAN champion is $1.25 million.
