Imama downplays Egbuchulam’s absence

Coach of Enugu Rangers Imama Amakpabo has promised fans of the Nigerian Professional Football League of a good show at the Super Cup Final slated to hold in Abuja today, Wednesday. Imama who confirmed that Rangers international will be without Nigeria Sports Awards player of the year Chisom Egbuchulam who has completed his move to Tunisian outfit Etoile du Sahel, downplayed the effect the absence of midfielder will have on the team at the cup game and into the league.

The Nigeria league champions will take on Federations Cup winners on Wednesday in Abuja for the Super Cup.

Instead, the coach of the defending champions of the Nigerian premier league promised their fans of a good outing against IfeanyiUbah.

He said, “Expect good football, definitely we want to win.

“We are league champions; we are not scared of anyone.”

The Super Cup precedes the Nigerian league which kicks off this weekend across the country.
