Kenneth Omeruo may have found a light footing at Stamford Bridge as he was back in training with Chelsea’s main team on Tuesday, reports Extrasportsnigeria.com. It was not exactly determined why the Nigeria international trained with the main squad as he was not registered for Chelsea for this season.
Earlier reports from London this season have stated that Omeruo is set for another loan deal. He spent time in Turkey last week holding talks with three Turkish Super Lig clubs over a possible loan move.
Omeruo who starred for Nigeria at the World Cup trained with Chelsea for the first time since July 31, but has been told in terms by new coach, Muarizio Sarri that he is surplus to requirements.
In the last few days, the former Sunshine Stars of Akure defender has been linked with the top clubs in Turkey. He was first linked to Dan Amokachi’s former team Beskitas and then Galatasaray and of course Fenerbahce. Then reports also mentioned Bursaspor, Goztepe, Alanyaspor and Kasımpaşa as possible loan destinations.
The defender has not featured for Chelsea in a regular season but rather been always on loan to other teams.
