Nigeria attacker Victor Osimhen has hooked up with Belgian club Sporting Charleroi on a permanent deal from his German club, Wolfsburg.
Osimhen spent the closed season on loan at Charleroi. But on Friday lequipe.fr, reported that Charleroi had activated the €3.5m buyout option in his agreement to sign on the attacker. He could become their first signing for the season.
But his stay in Charleroi could be a very short one as the Belgian club is also expected to sell the striker to likely AC Milan or Southampton.
The tall player joined Wolfsburg in 2017 from the Nigerian U17 side at the World Cup in Chile in 2015. He won the Golden Boot and Silver Ball awards in Chile.
He is already weighed in between €12m and €15m for the asking.
