Sports marketing company, Pamodzi Sports Marketing Limited, has concluded arrangements to unveil three new sponsors for the Nigeria Football Federation within the next one week.
Kingsley Ozumba, who is Client Accounts Manager of the firm, said in Lagos on Tuesday that his organization chose to ensure all ends were firmed up and the contracts delivered before picking a date for the public announcement.
He said, “We have worked with the corporate organizations involved to consummate the agreements, but we will leave out the names of the brands and organisations for the moment. Within the next one week, we will unveil the new partners alongside the Nigeria Football Federation.
“There are two organisations involved but there are three product categories, so in effect, we are talking of three sponsorship agreements.”
Ozumba congratulated the NFF and the Super Eagles for qualification to the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia.
“For us, it is not just about getting contracts signed. There are key roles to play in activation, which is the real sponsorship deal. Nigerian football is growing and the big players need to really come out and help it to blossom.”
In late December the NFF boss had hinted to the media that three huge contracts were almost done deals for the federation.
