Siasia begs Govt, individuals to help rescue his kidnapped mother

Former Nigeria player and coach Samson Siasia has made a passionate appeal to the Nigerian government and concerned citizens to help rescue his abducted mother.

Siasia’s mother Mrs Ogere Siasia, aged 76, was abducted about ten weeks ago and has since remained with the abductors.

Siasia has lamented the failure of the Nigerian Police to get her released.

“My mother has been with these people for months now and the police are saying it’s been difficult to track these kidnappers, but my great concern is that my mother is very sick.

“So I can only keep appealing to these guys to please let my mother go. I would like for the government or whoever is capable to help me bring my mother back.”

The former Nigeria coach, who was recently banned for life by FIFA for match fixing allegations, said he would try taking his plea to the office of President Muhammadu Buhari.

It’s the second time in four years that elderly Siasia has been kidnapped after she was held by gunmen for 12 days, before her release in 2015.
