Super Eagles were not just playing and winning on the pitch in their two-legged encounters with the Mediterranean Knights of Libya; they were very well supported by fans at the stadiums who got some soothing relief from TomTom – the official candy of the Super Eagles.
TomTom, the leading candy brand from the stable of Cadbury Nigeria Plc, stormed Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, last Saturday, to support the Eagles in their quest to return to the African Nations Cup tournament that they missed the last two editions.
Officials of Cadbury created delicious moments of joy for the fans as they gave out free TomTom to everyone. Nigeria won the match by 4-0. And the Eagles continued on a winning note beating Libya 3-2 in Sfax on Tuesday. Eagles are now perched atop the Group E of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series.
