Adron homes plans big for world champion Amusan

Newly crowned World Athletics 100m hurdles champion Tobi Amusan would get a special reception during this year’s Adron Games billed for the last quarter of this year.

This much has been confirmed by the management of Adron homes by the weekend.

The Group Managing Director (GMD) of Adron Homes and Properties Ltd, Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King, a native of Remo where Tobi also hails from said he is proud of the golden girl which informs the decision to host her.

He said, “We are excited by Tobi’s golden feat at Oregon. This is why we have decided to honor her during the yearly Adron games for staffs and students in Lagos in November.”

He stressed that Adron games would also create a hurdles championship to be contested for by universities in Tobi’s honour.

Adron Games is a grassroots event sponsored by the company. The organizers of the event have in the past honoured various former sports icons such as Samson Siasia, Mary Onyali, Falilat Ogunkoya, Daniel Amokachi, Kaffie among others.
