Again, D’Tigress beat Serbia 59-56

Africa’s back-to-back champions, D’Tigress on Saturday defeated Serbia 59-56 in a well fought out game. It was a second straight win in two days for the Nigerian queens after the win over Puerto Rico on Friday.

D’Tigress on Friday defeated Puerto Rico 89-63 at the Lange Munte Arena in Kortrijk in one of their friendly matches lined up by the Nigeria Basketball Federation to prepare the team for the Tokyo Olympic Games.

The team which landed in Belgium from Las Vegas, USA this week showed their intention early in the game as they raced to a 13-9 lead in the first quarter, Extrasportsnigeria.com reports.

D’Tigress will face Belgium on Sunday as they round off this series of friendly games.
