Leicester, City agree Iheanacho deal
Leicester City have had an offer of £25 million accepted by Manchester City for Nigeria striker Kelechi Iheanacho, according to Sky Sports.
City manager Pep Guardiola now sparingly uses the Nigerian, paving the way for the Foxes to lure him to the King Power Stadium.
Sky Sports reported on Monday that a deal to bring Iheanacho to the 2015/16 Premier League champions had been agreed.
However, there are still contractual issues to sort out before Craig Shakespeare can the attacker his player.
Leicester have thus beaten West Ham in the race to grab the player.
Shakespeare it has been reported believes a twin attack of Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy will be formidable. The 2015/16 League Cup winner started just once in 2017 under the former Barcelona boss last season, with Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero preferred ahead of him.
