Plateau United beat Adamawa 5-0, lead Nigerian league again
Plateau United drilled Adamawa United 5-0 in a Nigeria Professional Football League match on Sunday in a game played in Jos. The massive result ensured that the Plateau boys returned to the top of the league log.
Plateau United had gone three games without a win, before they bashed Adamawa United in style.
Ibrahim Mustapha’s brace and goals from Oche Ochowechi, Uche Onwuasoanya, and Abba Umar returned them to the top of the NPFL, based on superior goal difference over Lobi.
Enugu Rangers made it three goals on Sunday after defeating Abia Warriors 3-1 at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in a match also played on Sunday.

Akwa United went to Kano and bowed 2-0 to Kano Pillars.
After a goalless first half, Nyima Nwagua powered the hosts ahead in the 76th minute before veteran Rabiu Ali sealed the win three minutes later.
And in Bauchi, MFM FC lost by 2-1 to Wikki Tourists.
Promise Damala handed the hosts the lead just 18 minutes from kick off before Wikki doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time through Ajala Olushola.
Two minutes into the second half, MFM reduced the deficit through Izuchukwu Chimezie, who converted Tosin Olubobola’s pass.
