Senator Shehu Sani hails Musa’s return to Nigerian league

Senator Shehu Sani has hailed the return of the Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa to the Nigerian Professional Football League, describing it as the best decision under the current situation.

The keen football following Senator believes that the return of the Nigerian captain to his former club would boost his club, Kano Pillars and the league itself as it is hoped that his presence could attract a lot sponsorship and marketing interest to the system. He praised Musa for taking a bold step to return home instead of hanging around idly in Europe.

Sani who made his view know via a tweet on Wednesday wrote, “Ahmed Musa’s return to Kano Pillars is one of the best strategies to improve and attract interest in our local football teams and National league. After global come local. It’s better than hanging and idling in Europe. There will always be a place for you at home. @thenff.”

Musa was officially declared an attacker for Kano Pillars by team on Tuesday, April 13th. The Super Eagles captain has been without a team since he left his Saudi Arabian club last year. A move to the English Premier League in January did not work out.
