West Brom, Villa eye Iheanacho

The world transfer market is buzzing and Super Eagles attacker Kelechi Iheanacho is said to be on the radar of two English Premier League clubs. The Nigeria international is reportedly being considered by West Brom and Aston Villa as the teams begin plans for respectable outings in the league next season.

The inclusion of Villa and West Brom has made it three clubs listed against the name of the striker as Newcastle United were the first to be linked with the Nigeria international. The Baggies turf is a familiar terrain for Nigerian players with Nwankwo Kanu as top on the list of ex-Nigeria internationals that featured there.

Newcastle is the biggest of the three teams but Aston Villa may probably serve the Nigerian better reports Extrasportsnigeria.com. Since Iheanacho made dropped from the perking order at Manchester City, he has been battling to prove himself in the EPL. He has since recovered a lot of the lost ground in the league and with the Nigerian national team where he had been left out.

Villa struggled through the league last season for lack of quality firepower upfront. A motivated Iheanacho could fill up a lot of the gap.

The former City starlet has scored 34 goals in 117 EPL appearances.
