This is Who We Are
We set up Extrasportsnigeria.com as a platform that reports on sports in the most basic way. Our emphasis on Nigeria is not by accident. We wanted a platform people from across the world can depend on for information on the happenings in the Nigerian circle.
Extrasportsnigeria was not primarily set up to be the best in the industry by those regular measurements but we desire to give everyone a platform to read Nigerian sports and indeed Nigerian news reports the way they ought to be written. In the pursuit of this noble goal, we have organized a workforce that stops at nothing to give the “Why” behind the “Why” in any story.
Our newsroom is not so huge, not as huge as you imagine, but the mix of the young, the exposed, and experienced writers, with their sight set constantly on integrity, has made the team what any credible manager would desire.
Extrasportsnigeria.com was born to serve as a platform for every sports fan; for every athlete with a story to tell; and for the sports community to have a place to converse and bond as young minds continue to make the universe more entertaining and seamless. It has grown beyond that in the ecosystem as our reach to every part of Nigeria, Africa, and of course worldwide has added up to making us a platform without boundaries.
In The Beginning
From Day One, we chose to serve the industry and society in general, and we have been able to deliver on this. The readers’ trust and response ignited the desire to serve even more in this ever-changing world, which has given birth to a bigger platform with a general news section that covers politics, business, arts, and more.
Our brand of journalism has impacted society so much in such a short time. Yes, we love the reference made daily to our reports.
We depended on you at the start, and you, in turn, depended on us for direction and guidance, and hopefully, we will continue to move side-by-side in this fresh and bigger challenge.
Thank you!
